Thank you for deciding to help us protect our reserves of valuable natural resources for future generations. Under our recycling program you can exchange your used Warchal strings for new ones directly with the manufacturer.
Customers in the European Union are currently the only ones who can participate in our recycling program. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to operate this service for our customers outside of the European Union due to increasing bureaucracy and extremely high customs clearance fees.
How to send us your strings
If you are from the EU and you want to send us your used Warchal strings:
- Log in to your Warchalshop account and then click on your name in the top right corner. Click on "Recycling Program" in the drop down menu - this will bring you to your recycling account.
- Click on "Add new recycling request". A form will come up on your screen. On the form, click on the type and amount of strings that you want to send.
- Continue by clicking on "Submit request". When you do this, "Quick instructions" will come up and you will be able to access your form with the assigned ID. Print out this form and send it with your strings. If you can’t print out the form carefully write down your request ID and send it to us with your strings.
- Please do NOT send us strings if you are from a country outside the European Union, as we will not be able to collect them at customs and they will be returned to you.

Shipping costs
The cost of shipping used strings to us is covered by the customer (the sender). For this reason we recommend that you collect your Warchal strings, check their actual value here and send them when you’ve accumulated a quantity worth shipping.
Adding credit
When we receive your strings we check the number of strings and add credit to the appropriate account. Strings from other manufacturers will not be accepted.
How to use your credit
Your credit will automatically be deducted from the total price of your purchase when you make your next string order. You can use your credit for Warchal string purchases regardless of whether you are buying for full price or for half-price under the "trial purchase" program. Credit cannot be used to buy other items (such as rosin, etc.) or to pay for shipping.
Safe and easy communication
Notifications from us may end up in your spam. We suggest checking your e-mail spam box regularly and recommend putting our e-mail address shop@warchal.com into your address book (in MS Outlook or other e-mail programs) in order to avoid problems with spam filtering.
